The
Raeford/Hoke County Emergency Communications Center is the
Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for all emergency calls in
the City of Raeford and Hoke County. The Communications Center
is a centralized communications facility that utilizes an
enhanced 911 (E-911) system that is wireless Phase II
compliant. The Communications Center is staffed 24 hours per
day.
We provide
Emergency Communications for the Raeford Police Department, Hoke
County Sheriff’s Department, Hoke County Fire Departments,
AMR-EMS, the Hoke County Rescue Squad, and Hoke County
Emergency Management. We serve as the County Warning Point for
Emergency Management and monitor the National Warning System (NAWAS)
radio.
We serve as
an after hours point of contact for Raeford Public Works and
Hoke County Utilities. We maintain notification lists for
Public Safety, Criminal Justice, and Public Service agencies in
Hoke County.
We also
maintain contact lists for businesses in the event of an
after-hours incident. We encourage business owners to complete
this form and fax or mail it to the Communications Center.
